Black Sesame shares fall 50 percent

Chinese autonomous driving chip firm Black Sesame International (2533) tumbled as much as 50 percent this morning.

The fall came after clarifying that its long-term collaboration with China’s leading automakers is part of its ordinary course of business.

Rumors that its chips had been adopted by BYD (1211) drove shares up over 50 percent in two days last week, pushing them to a record high since listing.
